The Snowglobe

Hi, my name is Lumimyrksky, I am a fifteen year old Sneasel from the Frozen North, a small mining village we call Frystökebyen.  This town used to be off limits for half the year; The winters here are harsh, and the sun doesn't rise for a good three months, and large snowdrifts, avalanches, and whiteouts used to leave us completely isolated from the rest of the world.  So it just wasn't safe. 

This is where I came in.  You see, I'm a little weirder than most up here, I was born with an unusual ability to grow. It seems to be related to the cold in fact, which is one of the reasons I have to make sure I keep wrapped up warm!  while I don't like all the attention of being so big nor can I help the occasional accident, (as it's often really hard to keep myself normal sized!)  it is great as it means I can help people who've lost their way in the harsh weather conditions. Or make the trek to the nearest village for supplies, or even make my way through the dangerous seas to the mainland if I'm super careful.

So now we live up here all year around.  Oh? You were wondering about this village here?  No this isn't mine, but it's another one from up here.  The area its meant to be in is being battered by the elements so I'm just looking after it till things subside! I'll take care of it, I promise!

So now that we're descending into negative temperatures as winter sets in, I figure it's time to share some art of my newest character, Lumimyrsky. (Or Lumi for short!). She has the ability to grow and shrink at will, with one major restriction: Temperature.  If she's cold, its easy for her to grow.  If she's very cold, its hard for her NOT to grow.  As for if she was warm, it would be easy for her to shrink, and while she wouldn't shrink under very warm circumstances, she would find it increasingly difficult to grow the warmer she gets.

She's a schoolgirl, but she's also a protector and a guardian of her own village, and often helps out the few neighboring villages on her island.  She'll often get calls at any time of the day, asking for help.  

With any luck, you'll get to see more of her, as she's a lot of fun to draw, and I certainly want to draw more of her!
