Trouble on the Horizon

"Ugh! It's like walking on grass. All these tiny little hovels just crumble like the shanties they are. HMPH!"

Rocquesanne took another thunderous step across the buildings and roadways of whatever dumb city she was lording over, grimacing as a garishly plain storefront sank between her toes. She took a brief pause to lift her leg, spread her digits, and flick the offending structure out across the district.

"Hmph. Garbage, garbage, garbage! This entire trashy city is nothing more than a useless pile of garbage! You should be thanking me for crushing it all into the dirt where it belongs, under my flawless furry toes. At least then it'll be easier to bury it all and rebuild!"

The Persian took out her aggression with a well-aimed kick to one of the few remaining skyscrapers in the city.

"I suppose it's a trade-off, really. I can't get away with using my powers at home, lest my family find out... But what's the point of using them here, where everyone is too poor to build anything but trash? Even your biggest buildings are just knee-high to a veritable goddess like myself, and I'm not even at my full size! Which reminds me: I'm going to have to come back here later at a couple miles in height, and crush every last inch of this disasterpiece into a pancake. The idea of me- me!- living on the same continent as such a hideous ghetto... Eugh!"

Dragging her jet-black claws through the painted lane lines of the roads below- as well as any buildings on either side of them- Rocq twirled an airplane she'd snatched up earlier between her fingers. It slipped free and fell into a stadium half-filled with loose rubble.

"Oooops! Oh well, not like the place looks any worse for it. I swear, you're all luckier than you could imagine. If it were up to me, I'd never even GLANCE at this 'city,' much less grace it with my presence. The only thing ANY of you have going for you is that you haven't got a giant rat infestation... Heh heh heh!"

Rocquesanne was too busy laughing at her own joke to notice the purple paws rising up over the horizon behind her.

Whew, this one took some time. It's not that it took me a long time to actually draw it.  It was just spread out of over a long period of time with other pictures and projects in between.  But aye, this was pollwinner, to a poll posted 2 months ago!  You guys need to start picking easier ones!

Anyway, this is VDO's jerk of a Persian, Rocquesanne Relavosa II, who I figured was in need a picture where she's actually occupying more than 3% of the picture!  So I went to town, drawing her going to town on a pretty large town!  But oh dear. It looks like somebody's about to spoil her fun!
