The State of Deviant Art - AI Garbage.
I'm absolutely furious about the state of DA at the moment. Holy heck.
I've got AI turned off in every place possible. And yet, I'm still getting ads on the side of the page for furry AI p0rn artists who are selling in the market. And frustratingly instead of blocking them DA are advertising them with animated images telling us how much they're earning this year on DA. It really is atrocious.

It's just so stupid. You could quite easily write an idea generator that just generates random furry prompts, write some automation stuff to take the result and post it up for selling and just have that run several times a day and sell the results for $10 a pop. It's absolutely garbage that's killing the site. It's just completely unsustainable.
Just as a reminder as to where else you can find me. I'm not planning on going just yet but boy they're testing my patience!
Deviant Art's Search Features
Am I missing something super obvious with Deviant Art's search functionality?
I'm not sure how long it's been like this, but I am increasingly unable to find anything at all in it. For example, let's say I want to do a search for Erika. "Erika Stampydragon" doesn't produce a picture of Erika 164 results.
Okay, how about "Erika Jolteon" Somehow that ends up being even worse and doesn't yield a single picture until about the 900th result. (88th row, at roughly 10 per row. I couldn't be bothered to count that far.)
And it's not just Erika either. I've tried this with all my characters and many friend's.
I've been using Deviant Art less and less due to all the navigation issues the interface, and then less again due to the AI nonsense. But seriously, what's going on with their search algorithms?
I know one thing it's doing is arbitrarily blocking things from public non-signed in view with no rhyme or reason. Are the search issues related to that?

Refsheets Inbound!
Last year, I drew up reference sheets for all of my characters, which I then assembled into an interactive reference viewer, which I'll share on here once I've got them all posted. I feel that they're probably a good thing to start up the new year by posting! If you have any questions on a specific character, feel free to ask in the replies and such.
